As one of the first designers hired onto the web design team at a health-tech start-up in Los Angeles, my journey over the past several years has been nothing short of amazing.

As the company grew, merged and finally became a new company, I had the unique privilege of contributing to the growth and development of the web design team. Through this process I’ve learned many things, including how to work with the most discerning customers, how to code, how to collaborate with account executives, engineers and product managers and how to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the company.

Overall, this experience has not only honed my design skills but has also taught me how to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment.

I love building relationships with each client I work with. Web design is a fluid process, and I encourage clients to collaborate with me along the way.

Design + Leadership

In addition to my design work, I played a pivotal role in shaping the design team by taking on leadership responsibilities such as interviewing, training, and mentoring junior designers. I actively participated in meetings and slack channels to advocate for our team. And as a senior designer I led by example by producing high level designs and nurturing strong relationships up and down the chain.
